What we collect

When you create an account: your name, email, and phone. When you place an order: shipping address, order history, and payment confirmation (we do not store card details - those live with SSLCommerz).

When you browse (only after you accept cookies): device and usage data such as pages and products viewed, add-to-cart and checkout actions, approximate location, and device or browser type. This is used for analytics and advertising measurement. See the “Cookies, tracking & advertising” section below. We do not use Google Analytics or GA4.

Why we collect it

• To fulfill orders and ship products to your door.
• To notify you about order status (shipped, delivered).
• To process referral vouchers when friends sign up through your link.
• To improve the catalog based on what people search for.
• To send you marketing only if you opt in (off by default after first month).

What we share

With SSLCommerz for payment processing. With our shipping partners for delivery. With Cloudinary for image hosting and Supabase for the database itself. We never sell your data to third parties.

Third-party advertisements

niyejao does not run third-party advertisements on this website. Should niyejao ever embed a third-party advertisement in the future, the merchant (niyejao) is solely responsible for the advertisement's content and any consequences arising from it. Our payment partners, including SSLCommerz, bear no responsibility for any third-party advertising shown on this website.

Customer information & third parties

niyejao does not sell, rent, or share customer personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. If we share customer information with a third party - for example, a courier or fulfilment partner so they can complete delivery - the merchant (niyejao) accepts sole responsibility for that disclosure. Payment gateway providers facilitate payment only and bear no responsibility for how the merchant handles customer information.

Your rights

You can request a full export of your data, change your email or phone, opt out of marketing emails, or delete your account entirely from account settings. Deletion takes effect immediately for your view; full purge from our records happens after 30 days (legal/tax record retention).

Cookies, tracking & advertising

We use first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work — your cart (so items persist as you browse) and session authentication. These are always on and carry no marketing data.

What we collect for analytics and advertising: device and usage data (pages and products viewed, add-to-cart and checkout actions, approximate location, device and browser type), and, on a completed purchase, your email and phone in hashed(irreversible) form used only to match the sale to an ad.

Tools we use: the Meta Pixel (in your browser) and the Meta Conversions API (server-to-server). We do not use Google Analytics or GA4.

Purposes: website analytics, advertising measurement (knowing which ads led to visits and sales), and retargeting (showing you relevant offers).

Legal basis (Bangladesh Personal Data Protection Act): for marketing and advertising trackers we rely on your consent, which you give through the cookie bar and can withdraw at any time. For processing your order (including the server-side purchase confirmation sent to Meta) we rely on contractual necessity — completing the transaction you asked us to make.

How to withdraw consent: click “Cookie preferences” in the footer at any time to change your choice, or email us (below). Declining, or later withdrawing, stops all Meta browser tracking immediately; the site, cart, and checkout keep working exactly the same.

Retention: advertising and analytics event data is retained by Meta under its own data policies (generally up to about two years). Your account and order records are kept as described under “Your rights” above.

কুকি, ট্র্যাকিং ও বিজ্ঞাপন (বাংলা)

সাইটটি চালু রাখতে আমরা কিছু আবশ্যিক (first-party) কুকি ব্যবহার করি — যেমন আপনার কার্ট এবং লগইন সেশন। এগুলো সবসময় সক্রিয় থাকে এবং কোনো মার্কেটিং তথ্য বহন করে না।

আমরা কী সংগ্রহ করি: ডিভাইস ও ব্যবহারের তথ্য (কোন পেজ ও পণ্য দেখা হয়েছে, কার্ট ও চেকআউট কার্যক্রম, আনুমানিক অবস্থান, ডিভাইস ও ব্রাউজারের ধরন), এবং ক্রয় সম্পন্ন হলে বিজ্ঞাপন মেলানোর জন্য আপনার ইমেল ও ফোন হ্যাশ করা(অপরিবর্তনযোগ্য) অবস্থায়।

সংরক্ষণকাল: বিজ্ঞাপন ও অ্যানালিটিক্স ইভেন্ট তথ্য Meta তাদের নীতিমালা অনুযায়ী সংরক্ষণ করে (সাধারণত প্রায় দুই বছর পর্যন্ত)। আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট ও অর্ডার তথ্য উপরে “Your rights” অংশে বর্ণিত অনুযায়ী রাখা হয়।

Security

All traffic is HTTPS-only. Passwords are hashed (we never see them in plaintext). Payment data never touches our servers. Admin access is protected with 2FA.
